Format: Four-Man Scramble
• This is a mens event
• This tournament will be played in a four-man best ball scramble format.
• Each player tees off on every hole.
• The team selects the best shot, and all players hit their next shot from that location.
• This process continues until the ball is holed.
• No mulligans are allowed — each player has only one attempt per shot.
• There are no self-awarded “gimme” putts.
• A putt may only be considered a “gimme” if the opposing team agrees and awards it.
Penalties & Drops
• If a ball enters a water hazard or is out of bounds/unfindable, the following applies:
- While this is uncommon in a scramble, it applies if all four players hit into trouble.
- If all players hit into a hazard or out of bounds (OB), the team may drop a ball at the point
where the best shot entered the hazard or crossed OB.
- The team will count:
- One stroke for the shot into the hazard/OB
- One penalty stroke for the drop
- The next shot played will be the team’s third stroke.
Example:
If all four tee shots land in the water, the tee shot counts as stroke one.
You will then drop near where the ball entered the water and add one penalty stroke (stroke two).
Your next swing will be stroke three.
Tees
• All players must play from:
• White tees on the front nine
• Blue tees on the back nine
Scoring
• Two teams will play together and keep score for each other.
• At the end of the round:
- Team captains from both teams must sign the scorecard
- Signed scorecards should be turned in to the scoring desk
Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin Contests
• One attempt per player on the designated hole
• Must have entered contest prior to shot attempt
(Basically, you can not decide after a great shot to enter the contest)
Conduct & Event Guidelines
• This is an alcohol-free event.
•All players are expected to treat course staff, event volunteers, and fellow players with respect at all times.
Failure to comply with any of the rules/guidelines specified above may result in disqualification from the event.
